8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only:
- Session cookie — maintains your login state.
- Locale cookie — remembers your language preference.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics data is collected anonymously.
9. Mobile Application
If you use our mobile application (Kodiq Academy), we may collect additional data:
- Push notification tokens — Firebase Cloud Messaging device tokens to deliver push notifications. You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
- Biometric data — if you enable biometric unlock (Face ID, fingerprint), the biometric check is performed locally on your device. We never receive or store your biometric data.
- Analytics (opt-in) — PostHog and Firebase Analytics collect anonymised usage events (screen views, feature usage). You control this via the in-app consent screen and can change your choice at any time.
- Crash reporting — Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry collect crash logs and device information to help us fix bugs. This is classified as essential data processing.
- Session replay (opt-in) — PostHog session replay records anonymised screen interactions to improve UX. All text inputs are masked. This is enabled only with your analytics consent.
10. International Transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service.
